Alternative Lighting Colored LEDs

Bright colored lighting would be beneficial and great for telling a story or setting the mood of the picture, plus it makes it look cool! Each color can set a different mood, such as the blue can be for sadness or calm, and red can be for anger or power. Or you can use the lights to match up a certain holiday, examples of this is using pink/red for Valentine's Day as shown above. The drawbacks of this though is it'll be hard to control the lighting; one side of your subject would be too bright and the other would be too dark. Maybe your subjects face would be consumed by the light.
